Swift Response to Dec 18th FCC Vote

On Dec. 18th as the FCC was voting to gut the longstanding protection that prhibbitted one company from owning the major daily newspaper and a TV or radio station in the same community, Capital News launched a poll on their website asking people, "Would relaxed media ownership rules be good for local TV stations and newspapers?"

Gore to Martin: Cool It

When most people think of Al Gore they think of his crusade against Global Warming. However, Gore has long been involved with issues of media and the internet. As a member of Congress he was an important supporter of the development of the internet, he has served on Apple's board of directors, and he had that little documentary he made a while back.
